Oslo Airport Map
Oslo Gardermoen Airport is approximately 35 km from the city center. Oslo Airport is Norway’s busiest airport. Approximately 26 million passengers use this airport each year. There are flights to 31 domestic and 164 international destinations from Oslo Airport. SAS Scandinavian Airlines is the airport’s main airline. Norwegian Air Shuttle, Norse Atlantic Airways, and Widerøe also operate regular flights from Oslo Airport. Flights depart from Oslo Airport to Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Alicante, Munich, Helsinki, Malaga, Gran Canaria, Krakow, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Riga, and Zurich.
Oslo Airport has one terminal. The fastest way to reach the terminal is the Flytoget Airport Express. After clearing customs, turn right, follow the yellow “Tog/Train” signs, and go down to the lower level. The Flytoget train from Platform 3 takes you to Oslo Central Station in 19 minutes. Trains depart every 10 minutes. The Vy regional train departs from Platform 4.
The Flybussen Airport Bus departs every 20 minutes from Gate 12 in the arrivals hall. This bus takes 70 minutes to reach the city center. For a taxi, go directly to the left after exiting the arrivals gate.

Oslo Airport Terminal
Oslo Airport has one terminal. The domestic and international areas are separate.
The Domestic Area is located in the west wing of the terminal. Gates A (A1-A20) are the main domestic gates. Gates B are located on the south platform. These gates are sometimes also used for international Schengen flights. Check-in counters are on the ground floor. After passing through security, proceed to the elevated area on the second floor. Here you’ll find shops, cafes, and the OSL Lounge Innland, exclusive to domestic passengers.
In the International Schengen Area, there are Gates C, D, and E. Gates E2-E35 are located beyond the Schengen security checkpoint. After passing through security, turn right, walk past the Duty Free shop, and take the elevator next to the ‘Way Nor’ store to the second floor.
In the International Non-Schengen Zone, there are Gates F and G. After passing through Schengen passport control, you will reach the area with Gates F1-F22. Gates G1-G8 are located on the south platform. Non-Schengen airlines such as Emirates, Qatar, and Turkish Airlines operate flights from here.
There are currency exchange offices and ATMs in both the arrivals and departures halls. There are 18 ATMs throughout the terminal. Inside the terminal, you’ll find restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops, and souvenir stores.

Oslo Airport Car Rental
Renting a car at Oslo Airport is very easy. Car rental offices are located in the terminal’s arrivals hall, near the baggage claim area. After collecting your luggage, follow the “Car Rental” signs. Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Budget, Hyre, and Enterprise provide services within the terminal.
Once you’ve completed the rental process, you’ll receive your keys. After picking up your keys, you’ll need to walk to the P10 and P11 covered parking lots to retrieve your vehicle. There is a covered walkway connecting the terminal to these parking lots. The walk from the terminal to the parking area takes 5-10 minutes.
There are plenty of routes to explore in Norway with a rental car. If you connect to the E6 highway from the airport and head south, you’ll reach Oslo city center in about 40 minutes. There are toll booths with automatic payment systems along the roads. Rental companies typically provide a toll payment device with the vehicle. The total amount will be charged to your card when you return the vehicle.
Take the E6 from the airport and drive toward Lillehammer for about 90 minutes. This romantic lakeside city hosted the 1994 Winter Olympics. Here, you’ll see some of Norway’s most beautiful natural landscapes.
Oslo Airport at VIP Lounge
There is a VIP Lounge in both the domestic and international departure areas at Oslo Airport.
For the International OSL Lounge, turn right after passing through security and walk past the Duty Free shop. Use the elevator or stairs next to the ‘Way Nor’ store to go up to the 2nd floor. The International OSL Lounge is located right next to Gate E22. This lounge is open from 5:15 AM to 8:30 PM. Only international passengers may use this lounge. Inside, you’ll find a hot and cold buffet, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, newspapers, workstations, and flight information screens.
For the OSL Lounge Innland, walk to Gate A15 after passing through security and take the stairs to the 2nd floor. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. On Saturdays, it is open from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Widerøe passengers and members of certain credit card programs can enter the lounge for free.
The SAS Gold Lounge & SAS International Lounge are open exclusively to SAS and Star Alliance Gold members, as well as SAS Business and Plus passengers. These two VIP lounges are located near the E2 gates. The SAS Gold Lounge features showers, a buffet, beverages, private workspaces, and a runway view. The SAS Domestic Lounge is located in the A gates area.
Hotels Near Oslo Airport
There are hotels within walking distance of the terminal at Oslo Airport. The hotels are connected to the terminal via a covered walkway. The Radisson Blu Airport Hotel, Radisson RED Oslo Airport, and Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Oslo Airport are connected to the terminal via a walking path.
To reach the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel Oslo Gardermoen, exit the arrivals hall, cross to the opposite sidewalk, and enter the covered walkway. You can reach the hotel in a 5-minute walk from the terminal. The hotel has 500 rooms and suites. This 4-star hotel features soundproofed rooms, free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a restaurant, and a bar. Breakfast is served starting at 5:00 AM.
Radisson RED Oslo Airport is connected to the terminal via a covered walkway. This hotel has a younger, design-focused atmosphere. Thon Hotel Gardermoen is a short distance from Oslo Airport. The hotel offers family rooms. Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West is located on the west side of the terminal.
