Doha Hamad Airport Terminal
Hamad International Airport (DOH) is divided into different concourse zones connected to the main terminal area for easy passenger navigation. On the Doha Airport Map, you can see Concourse A, B, C, D, and E, the gate points within these zones, and directions to passenger services. The map is particularly useful for finding your departure gate, planning your connecting route, and accessing lounges, restrooms, prayer rooms, food and beverage areas, and shopping areas.
Concourse A
Concourse A is one of the passenger zones located close to the main terminal and check-in area. On the map, you can easily follow the A gate areas, directions to nearby lounges, service points, and intra-terminal connections. The Doha Airport Map helps passengers with flights from Concourse A reach their gates, waiting areas, and essential airport services more quickly.
Concourse B
Concourse B is another important gate area located on the other side of the main terminal layout. Passengers in this section can check the B gate areas, shopping and food and beverage areas, lounge directions, restrooms, prayer rooms, and transfer connections via the map. The Concourse B map is particularly useful for passengers who want to see the gate location and nearby services before departure.
Concourse C
Concourse C is one of the main connecting areas within Hamad International Airport and provides access to many gate areas. On the Doha Airport Map, you can see the C gate points, different level connections, passenger train directions, lounge areas, restaurants, shops, and transfer routes. Concourse C is particularly important for transferring passengers as it is one of the central parts of the airport.
Concourse D
Concourse D is one of the northern connecting areas of the Doha Airport terminal structure shown on the current map. This section connects to other gate areas and passenger services via Concourse C. The map makes it easier to find the direction to Concourse D, nearby gate areas, transfer passes, and service points within the terminal.
Concourse E
Concourse E is one of the current concourse areas within Hamad International Airport and is part of the connecting layout on the north side of the terminal. On the Doha Airport Map, you can see the E gate points, passenger services, restrooms, prayer room, smoking room, food and beverage areas, and shop locations. Concourse E is an important area for passengers using current maps, as it wasn’t always shown in detail on older maps.
Doha Hamad Airport Car Rental
Renting a car at Doha Airport is very easy. The car rental counters are not inside the terminal but in a separate building across from the Arrivals Hall. After passing through customs from the Arrivals Hall, follow the signs to the building across the way. Look for the yellow signs that say “Car Rental.” You’ll reach the car rental hall via a covered walkway in about 2-3 minutes.
The car rental center features the following companies: Sixt, AVR, Gold Car, Castle Limousine, Q-Auto Mobility, Safety Rent a Car, Rent Solutions, Select, Elite Motors, AAB, Enterprise, Platinum, Regency Fleets, Prestige, Sixt, Al Mana, Mustafawi, Budget, Strong, Herts, and Europcar. Sixt, Alamo, AVR, and National are located between counters 9 and 13. Sixt is open 24 hours a day. Enterprise, Alamo, and National operate between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM.
After renting your car, you can pick it up from the airport parking lot. The vehicles are located in the short-term parking lot. The walk takes 5 minutes. The minimum rental age is 21. A driver’s license, passport, and credit card are required to rent a car.
There are plenty of routes to explore by car in Doha. You can rent a car from the airport to visit Katara and The Pearl or join desert safaris. Exit the airport and follow Ras Abu Abboud Street. Drive along the Corniche. From there, stop by the Museum of Islamic Art.

The Al Safwa First Lounge is one of the world’s most exclusive airport lounges. The Al Safwa First Lounge is located on the 3rd floor of the Duty-Free South Plaza. You can reach it via the escalator to the right of the Lamp Bear statue. This lounge is exclusively available to Qatar Airways and Oneworld First Class passengers. Privilege Club Platinum members may also gain access when traveling in Business Class. You may stay inside for up to 6 hours.
The lounge is open 24 hours a day. Inside the lounge, there is a private spa, a jacuzzi, bedrooms, office booths, a full buffet, and an à la carte restaurant.
The Al Mourjan Business Lounge is free for Qatar Airways and Oneworld Business Class passengers. Economy passengers, excluding those flying Business Class Lite, can also use the lounge area for a specific fee. The South Lounge is on the 3rd floor. The Garden Lounge is located on the upper level of the Orchard, an indoor tropical garden. This lounge features conference rooms, a game room, a children’s play area, a spa, and a swimming pool.
The Oryx Lounge is designed for passengers of airlines other than Qatar Airways and holders of certain credit cards. An on-site payment option is available. This VIP Lounge is located in the northern section of the airport.
The Al Maha Lounge is located in two different locations. One branch is on the 2nd floor of the Departures Hall before passport control. The other branch is in the Airside area.
Hotels at Doha Hamad Airport
There is one hotel inside the terminal at Doha Airport. The Oryx Airport Hotel is located in South Plaza, right next to the Lamp Bear statue. You can access the hotel without going through customs or passport control. This hotel is actually designed for transit passengers. It features 100 rooms and six different room types. Check-in and check-out times are flexible based on flight schedules. You can reserve a hotel room for short stays of 4 to 8 hours.
The Hyatt Regency is 2 kilometers from Doha International Airport. This hotel has 400 rooms. You can reach the hotel from the airport in five minutes via the hotel’s free shuttle service. For travelers with early morning flights, this hotel is the most comfortable option.
Premier Inn Doha Airport is approximately 10 minutes from Doha International Airport. This hotel offers more affordable rates. Premier Inn Doha Airport is 600 meters from the National Museum Metro Station. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to guests.
