Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Terminal
There are five terminals at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport: Terminal A, Terminal B, Terminal C, Terminal D, and Terminal E. All terminals are connected by walkways. You can use the Skylink train system to transfer between terminals. Skylink is free and operates 24 hours a day. Since Skylink operates within the security area, you do not need to go through security again.
Terminal A is used for American Airlines domestic flights. This terminal has 36 gates.
Terminal B is used for American Airlines flights and regional flights. This terminal has 45 gates. Terminal B is the largest terminal at the airport.
Terminal C is American Airlines’ main operations center. This terminal is busy around the clock. There are 38 gates in this terminal.

There are 33 gates in this terminal. Customs and passport control points are located in this terminal. Terminal D has a large duty-free area. Terminal E is used by Delta, Spirit, JetBlue, and several international airlines. This terminal has 41 gates.

The Rental Car Center is open 24 hours a day. There are regular shuttle services from the terminals to the RCC. After getting off the plane, follow the Rental Car signs from the baggage claim area. Go down to the lower level. There is a shuttle waiting area here. You can board the purple RCC shuttles waiting here. These services operate 24 hours a day. Services run every 15 minutes. After returning your car, you can return to the terminal on the same shuttle.
Advantage, Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, Budget, National, Alamo, Dollar, Fox, and Payless operate at the car rental center. All companies are open 24 hours a day. You can make your car rental reservation before your trip. Prices are always more affordable for early reservations. In addition, your rental process will be shorter. I strongly recommend making your reservation in advance online. This is because car demand is always very high in Dallas.
Dallas/Fort Worth Airport VIP Lounge
There is a VIP Lounge in each terminal at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. The Admirals Club has a branch in each terminal. The lounge area offers food and beverages, a bar, Wi-Fi, showers, and a children’s area. The opening and closing times of the lounge in each terminal vary. This lounge is generally open from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Passengers with American Airlines membership and business class tickets can access this lounge area.
