The moment you set foot in Naples, you will feel the salty scent of the Mediterranean mingling with the scent of history in the streets. Walking along Spaccanapoli, considered the heart of the city, you will see laundry hanging in narrow streets, small pizzerias, and churches. This is the only way to discover the true spirit of Naples. To see this beautiful city from above, you can climb up to Castel Sant’Elmo. If you’re a history buff, you can take a day trip to the ruins of Pompeii. You’ll lose track of time among the Roman and Greek treasures inside the Naples National Archaeological Museum. When evening comes, you can listen to street musicians while enjoying Neapolitan pizza and limoncello. Naples always made me feel this way: a bit messy, a bit noisy, but a city with an incredibly warm heart.

Naples Airport is heavily used by easyJet, Ryanair, Volotea, and Wizz Air airlines.

Getting to the city center from Naples Airport is very easy. There are taxi ranks in front of the terminal. The taxi ride to the city center is short. The most popular option for reaching the city is the Alibus shuttle bus. This bus runs every 20-30 minutes. You can reach Naples Centrale train station and Piazza Municipio in the city center by bus.

There is a single terminal at Naples Airport. The terminal is divided into three sections. Each section is used for separate flights.

Section A: Section A, located on the upper floor, is reserved for both domestic and Schengen zone flights. There are 11 gates in this section. This section has the most shops and restaurants.

Naples Airport Car Rental

If you want to explore Naples and its surroundings by car, I have good news for you. There are car rental company offices at Naples Airport. If you want to freely explore Naples and its surroundings, especially mysterious places like the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii, I recommend renting a car from the airport. The ruins of Pompeii are about 30 minutes away from the airport. The winding roads of the Amalfi Coast will give you an unforgettable journey to charming towns like Positano and Ravello. Just keep in mind that Naples’ city traffic is quite chaotic.

The offices of car rental companies Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar, Autovia, Maggiore, B-Rent, Drivalia, Noleggiare, SicilybyCar, and Sixt are located very close to the terminal at Naples Airport.

The companies are located in a separate building approximately 700 meters from the terminal. You can reach this location via the free shuttle that departs from the arrivals exit. The shuttle operates between 07:30 and 23:30.

If you make an online reservation before your trip, you can rent your car at a more affordable price. Demand for cars at the airport increases during peak seasons.

Naples Airport VIP Lounge

If you want to take a breather while waiting for your flight, sit in a comfortable chair, and relax in a quiet environment, you can wait for your flight in the VIP Lounge at Naples Airport. You can also pay at the door to wait for your flight here. The lounge offers free Wi-Fi, a snack and beverage buffet, shower facilities, a business center, and a meeting room. You can stay here for a maximum of 3 hours.

Hotels in Naples International Airport

There is no hotel connected to the terminal at Naples Airport. Capodichino International Hotel and Millennium Gold Hotel are located close to the airport. These hotels are a lifesaver for passengers with very early morning flights.
