Manchester Airport Terminals
There are three passenger terminals at Manchester Airport. Each terminal serves different flights. There is a 15-minute walk between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. These terminals are connected by Skylink. Terminal 3 is connected to Terminal 1 and Skylink by a covered pedestrian walkway.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is used for scheduled flights and charter flights to Europe and other destinations around the world. Inside the terminal, there is a modern 14-lane security area, shops, cafes, and lounges. There are information desks on the arrivals level of Terminal 1.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 serves the vast majority of airport passengers. This terminal is the hub for major airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, Jet2.com, EasyJet, Aer Lingus UK, and TUI Airways. This terminal is used for long-haul and international flights. Self-service check-in kiosks and FastTrack security lanes within the terminal save passengers time.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 is frequently used by low-cost airlines. This terminal is mainly used for short-haul flights.

If you want to escape the exhausting rush of flying and wait for your flight in a private environment, I have good news for you. There is a VIP Lounge in every terminal at Manchester Airport. The Escape Lounge is available in all three terminals. The price of this VIP Lounge is also quite reasonable. Here you will find a hot food buffet, a wide range of drinks, and quiet work areas.
There are two main lounge areas in Terminal 2: the 1903 Lounge and the Escape Lounge. The 1903 Lounge has a contemporary and stylish atmosphere with large windows overlooking the runways, decorated with Manchester-inspired artwork. Premium drinks and hot meals are included in the price. Wi-Fi and device charging points are also available. The Escape Lounge has a more spacious layout. Bar seating, dining, and relaxation areas are separated within the lounge. The Escape Lounge is open from 3:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

This hotel is directly connected to the Skylink walkway. You can reach the terminals from the hotel in a 15-minute walk. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, indoor swimming pool, spa, and sauna.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport is five minutes away from the terminal buildings. The hotel offers a free shuttle service. The Crowne Plaza and Clayton Hotel are also very close to the airport. You can reach these hotels with a 10-minute walk. If you are looking for more budget-friendly accommodation, you can choose the Premier Inn and Britannia Country House Hotel. All of these hotels are very close to the terminals.
