Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) is located approximately 13 miles (21 km) west of Mobile, Alabama, in the United States. MOB covers an area of approximately 1,717 acres. The airport has two asphalt runways. These runways are suitable for operations of regional and narrow-body jet aircraft of various sizes.

Mobile Regional Airport has a single terminal building where all passenger operations are conducted. The terminal features a user-friendly and easy-to-navigate design.
The ground floor of the terminal houses check-in counters, baggage claim, car rental offices, and arrivals passenger services. The upper level has a security checkpoint (TSA checkpoint), eight boarding gates (A1-A8), waiting lounges, and food and beverage areas. Departing passengers board their flights from this level. The terminal offers free Wi-Fi access, digital flight information screens, ATMs, and seating areas throughout.
Car Rental at the airport
Car rental companies have offices on the ground floor of the terminal building at Mobile Airport. The counters of major national car rental companies such as Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National are located directly opposite the baggage claim area. Customers can complete their rental transactions at these offices and then pick up their vehicles from the parking lot next to the terminal building. Car rental offices are open every day. They generally operate from the first flight until the arrival of the last flight.

Bus: The Wave Transit System, Mobile’s public transportation system, does not offer regular bus service directly to the airport. Public transportation to the airport is quite limited.
Taxi & Rideshare: There are taxi stands in designated areas at the arrivals exit of the terminal building. Local taxi companies provide service here. Additionally, ride-sharing apps such as Uber and Lyft are actively available at Mobile Airport. You can request a ride through the apps and board your vehicle at designated pickup points.
Hotel Shuttles: Some local hotels offer free or paid airport shuttle service for their guests.

Smoking Areas
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the terminal building, including electronic cigarettes, in all enclosed areas. Passengers who wish to smoke must exit the terminal building and use the designated outdoor smoking areas located a certain distance from the arrivals (lower level) and departures (upper level) exits. These areas are clearly marked and easy to find.

Hampton Inn & Suites Mobile: Located approximately 5 miles (8 km) from the airport. It is on I-65. A free shuttle service is available to the airport.
Holiday Inn Mobile – Airport: Approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) from the airport.
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mobile – Tillman’s Corner: Approximately 7 miles (11 km) from the airport. Prices are more affordable than other hotels.
