Linz Airport is located in the district of Hörsching. The airport is approximately 12 kilometers from downtown Linz. From downtown Linz, follow Highway B139 south. The road curves west; when you reach the Umfahrung Doppl exit, move into the right lane at the roundabout. Then turn onto Flughafenstraße. This road will take you directly to the terminal building. You can reach the airport from the city center in 20 minutes.

Linz Airport has a single passenger terminal. This terminal is used for both international and domestic flights. The terminal has two floors. As soon as you disembark the plane, you will find yourself in the baggage claim area. Customs control, car rental offices, and terminal exit gates are also located on this floor. International car rental companies such as Budget, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt operate at the airport. All car rental offices are located in the arrivals area, right outside the baggage carousels.
Check-in counters are also located on the ground floor. There is an information desk in the terminal building between the arrivals and departures sections. The upper floor of the terminal houses the departures hall. This floor features duty-free shopping, a café, and a lounge area. After security, if you pass through the duty-free area and turn right, you can take a glass elevator to the upper floor to reach the VIP Lounge.
